This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is trying to translate a page into Dutch, but the translation does not appear on the front end, even though the Translation Editor indicates that the translation is complete.
Solution:
1. We noticed that the Pro theme by Themeco was not updated to its latest version. We recommended updating the theme to see if this resolves the issue.
2. We also discovered that the issue could be resolved by updating WPML to the latest version, 4.7.0. You can download the latest version of WPML from here.
3. Before updating, ensure to make a full site backup (files and DB) to prevent any potential data loss.

If these steps do not resolve your issue, or if the solution seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Additionally, please feel free to open a new support ticket on our forum for further assistance at WPML support forum.

Hi,

Our second-tier supporter told me that the accordion issue is also in the pipeline for our developers to fix. It is part of a general problem with nested items. Unfortunately, we can't give you an ETA for when it will be released.

We'll keep you updated here.

Regards,
Itamar.

Hi Itamar,

thanks for the clear updates on both issues.
I might reach out to theme.co as well, regarding the subline issues.

I can imagine nested items are a challenge to support, but as the theme is getting more and more of them, I do hope the dev-team will figure out a way to support them.
You say you'll update me here, and I certainly appreciate that. But it would be great to have the topic not being auto-closed, so we can keep on discussing further updates. Is that something you can prevent from happening?

In addition: I now have been able to fix almost all issues, by replacing classic elements with the regular versions. However, I haven't been able to translate the Footer anymore. For some languages it works, but for example on hidden link, there's still the English text 'Share this page'.
When viewing 'Translation Management' there are nog footers available to translate.

How can we make the footers available for translation again?

Hi,

Thanks for communicating this issue with the theme.co.

This ticket will remain open until the issues mentioned are solved (either from our side or from theme.co).

In our technical support forum, we try to focus on one issue per ticket. Otherwise, tickets can get cluttered and confusing for both users and supporters.

Please open new tickets in our forum for any new issues you may be facing.

Thanks,
Itamar.

Hi,

Our compatibility team informed me that the issue in this ticket is fixed with the latest version of WPML - 4.7.0 - https://wpml.org/account/downloads/.

Please update WPML on your site when you can and check if the problem is fixed.

**** Important! Please make a full site backup (files and DB) before you proceed with those steps****
