I created a private test page in PT and translated it to ES - it works as expected: hidden link
Also, take note that I adjusted the WP Memory Limit as the site was running over the limit already.
I am not sure if the hosting service is maybe blocking this change, but I do still see 40M at WPML > Support > WordPress.
Elementor and WPML need at least 128M of WP Memory Limit. I have now even set it 1024M as I found such a line already commented out inside the wp-config.php file but it seems to me your hosting plan does not allow changing this limit.
Could you please ask them about this?
Also, I would also like to test if simply removing the translated page and applying the translation again will solve the issue, but I do not have permission to delete the page.
Could you apply the translation again after the WP Memory Limit is adjusted or test to delete the current translation page and translate it again? Take note, that the WPML Translation Editor in this case will pull the old translations for the content automatically.
Thank you and about memory message its a bug. This website currently is running under 2048M, much more than needed.
As we use Cyberpanel and Openlitespeed, may occurs some messsage errors.
Using htop or also own panel, we can show you about It. But well, I believe thats not the case.
And yes, If we use translation on posts, everything goes fine, as we expect forma Wmpl. Well, WPML goes beyond we expect and I'm happy to Tell you.
The only thing is not works for Homepage,
and for other pages it works very well.
Ah, I also removed the translation and inserted it again for the home/index, but it still doesn't work.
it works:
renomind.com/es/some_page
but this gives error:
renomind.com/es/
I even thought of some incompatibility with Elementor, but it seems that, when redirecting to /es in the home, the site sends me to another non-existent site.
Really very weird and I don't know if it's some plugin configuration, hataccess or what.
