Hello

I need to translate the content that is in the advanced accordion widget on the FAQ page (accessible from the footer)

When I want to translate de page, the content in the accordion is not showing which means I cannot translate. How can I translate the content in this particular widget.

It's a Jupiter X widget usable with Elementor.

Thank you

Hello There,
Thanks for contacting WPML Support.

I have checked the FAQ page and found 2 accordions There. One is the default accordion of Elementor and another is added using the Raven Extension of JupiterX-Core plugin. You should be able to translate the contents of the default Accordion widget from Translation Editor, but, please be informed that the extension used to add the other accordion(Raven) is not listed in our compatible plugin directory.

So, there is a high chance that the translation support may not be integrated into that widget which is why, the content from that widget isn't displaying in the translation editor.

To have the contents of this widget available and translatable from the editor, you would need to integrate translation support specifically for that widget. For a more detailed understanding, I recommend checking out the following documentation:
https://wpml.org/documentation/support/language-configuration-files/how-to-register-page-builder-widgets-for-translation/

You can also reach out to the plugin developer and request them to join the Go Global program of WPML: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/go-global-program/

However, the good news is, we do have a solution on hand. We have a tool available that can assist in creating the necessary configuration for the custom widgets/widgets that don't have translation support with just a few clicks. This tool is designed to reduce the time and effort of manually registering custom Elementor widgets by writing configurations for each one. To use this tool and better understand the process, kindly refer to the instructions in the following documentation:
https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/wpml-compatibility-test-tools-plugin/registering-custom-elementor-widgets-for-translation/

Once the configuration for the Widgets is added, you should be able to translate the contents from the Translation editor. But, if you have any further questions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're here to assist!

Best regards,
Prosenjit
