This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client reported that translations were 100% complete but not showing on the respective language pages. The issue was observed with pages using the Divi theme and particularly with global modules, which are meant to be the same across multiple pages. The client had cleared all caches but the problem persisted.

Solution:
1. We identified that the 'Divi Module Builder' plugin was not compatible with WPML, which was causing the translation issues.
2. We recommended that the client contact the plugin's support team and inquire about compatibility with WPML.
3. We suggested that the plugin's authors join our Go Global program so our Compatibility developers could help test and make the plugin compatible with WPML.
4. Upon further investigation, we found that regular Divi modules could be translated without issues, but the problem was isolated to 'Divi Custom Modules'.
5. We advised the client to reach out to the plugin author to collaborate with our compatibility team.
6. The client discovered that the issue was related to the use of 'global' modules in Divi, which need to be translated from within the Divi library, not within the page itself.

If the solution provided here does not resolve your issue or seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket with us for further assistance.

Thank you for responding.

I've already generated a report concerning the problems you're encountering. Our 2nd Tier Support team needs additional details, so I've reached out to you previously.

Given that the issue can now be duplicated across multiple pages, I'd like to inform our 2nd Tier Support team so they can conduct a more thorough investigation for you.

Thanks for your patience.

I have feedback and our 2nd Tier Support mentioned that this plugin "Divi Module Builder" is not compatible with WPML and is causing translation issues.

They created a test post here hidden link and it shows up correctly. However, making changes to the existing translations will not work.

Our 2nd Tier Support requested that you contact the support team/developers of that plugin and ask them if the plugin is compatible with WPML.

If the plugin is incompatible, I'd recommend they join our 'Go Global' program (https://wpml.org/documentation/support/go-global-program/) where our Compatibility developers will help test this plugin carefully.

I apologize on behalf for not being able to assist you further with this.

Thanks Kor. Are you aware that other elements on the pages are also affected? Not only Divi Module Builder elements. If so, then I would be curious why that is so. Thank you.

To clarify: With other elements I mean "normal" Divi elements, which have nothing to do with the Divi Module Builder.

Thanks. E.g. on this page the header image is not showing in the translation. The header element is a regular divi element.

Thanks for your patience.

We have performed another thorough test and we're able to translate the regular DIVI modules without issues. Here is the test page.

hidden link - german
hidden link - English

The issue is isolated to the "DIVI Custom Modules" and our 2nd Tier Support suggested that you check with the plugin author.

As for the header on this page hidden link , could you highlight it using a screenshot? We did not notice any issues when I checked.

Hello Kor

The main fullwidth header Image is not the same in the german and english versions:
hidden link vs. hidden link

One shows bike riders the other not. I mean they are rather distinct images? Do you get the same image?

Thanks for your reply.

When I checked this page hidden link in the backend, the English translation was not fully completed. Then, I completed the translation and the background image now shows the same hidden link as the German language here hidden link

Could you check?

Hello Kor

We got Feedback form DiviPlugis. Now they tested in a fresh install themselves and were able to save changes to translations. So we have two conflicting statements regarding this. They sent this video, where they show that it worked for them. If you go to the 2 minute and 20 second mark in the video, you'll see that they are able to safe changes: hidden link

Our experience was the same. It worked first and then stopped working only shortly before we contacted you. Can you please check this again and give me feedback accordingly?
