Indeed, we do handle only one issue per ticket and we already handle here on issue that will need further internal escalation. Please read this comment again: I am adding a screenshot showing the link inside the Advanced Translation Editor. This shows that this link is not translated and further it appears to be encoded as this is how The7 Theme is handling it. This is why WPML can not adjust it automatically. I have created the following config for this custom button widget: <shortcode> <tag>dt_default_button</tag> <attributes> <attribute type="link" encoding="vc_link">link</attribute> </attributes> </shortcode> This config sadly does not work unexpectedly - it used to work in the past. I can offer to provide a WPML test site on which I would need you to install the latest version of the The7 Theme and its plugins, so that we can recreate this issue and escalate it to our compatibility team. Would this be possible? Workaround: |

Thank you for your cooperation! Here is the One-Click-Login link for the test site: Please make sure to leave me a comment on this ticket once you are done with installing the theme and the plugin. |

Ok, I have installed the theme but can not activate it and install the theme plugins because the license is already used on our site. But the real problem is still that we are translating pages and after completing the full translation, the translated site is not visible and it is marked as not translated again. Or already translated pages are suddenly marked as not translated. Since you have been working on the page, it is visible again. However, none of us can see the link from your screenshot in the translator. |

You need to search the link in this case by using the search field on the top right an typing "http". --- I am afraid we are handling here too many issues on the same ticket. You mentioned earlier that you had issues with completing translation and I confirrmed that this was related to HTML markers. I gave examples here: and here: While some markers were simply missing, others were not able to be saved. In this case there was an issue regarding a table, and we tried to recreate the issue on a test site, but the issue did not occur there. If you still have issues with translation not completing, please make sure to verify each segment and make sure that HTML markers are set. --- Then you reported another issue, regarding a button translation: I explained that those buttons in this form currently can not be translated. If you can not cooperate in recreating the issue due to missing licensing that I need to ask you to reach out to the The7 Theme Support and report this issue there. --- Take kindly note, that we can only handle one issue per ticket. |

No, it is always the same core problem, here in a very short form: yes, you wrote it now several times that we allegedly did not set some HTML markers. And I repeat: This is not true! We checked and double checked and all markers are there. Please accept this and check on your end why WPML is obviously "forgetting" markers - if this is really the reason for this misbehavior. Button: and no, it is not about the translation of this button, I even don't care about that button. It is again the same problem as described 100 times and again above. Translated 100%, complete, not shown. Table: also irrelevant. When we removed the table element completely it changed nothing- still; gear icon. Also we pages where the table is included and German is working - so where is the logic for this? Now I followed your request to open for each time we have this very same problem a new ticket, of course we are assigned other supporters who have no clue about the history of our problems and they want access, videos, testsites and all explained again. Really? We can't do that, sorry we have been wasting already enough time to repeat again and again the same. I must admit we reached the end of our patience and demand a practicable solution. Recently I was asked by WPML to share a review about WPML on Capterra. |

I will investigate further and kindly ask you not open duplicated ticket for the same issue. Also, please take note that I am a Senior Supporter with more than 6 years if WPML support experienced and the information about causes for the issues on your site that I provided earlier were correct. I today connected to your site again: I still see an translation in progress on the page "ProfiLux Aquarium Controller". I opened the translation editor, which was completed to 100%, then completed the translation and the status changes to "Completed". The only remaining issue is the button text and link, as mentioned earlier. I then did the same on the pages: I duplicated the page "Mitras LX7 IL Series" and removed the section that includes the tables and updated the translation. This solved the issue and also confirms that translating the table content inside the Advanced Tranlation Editor is causing an issue. This is why I offered to recreate this issue and esclate it internally but I could not confirm such issue on our sandbox. I can offer that we try to recreate this issue and escalate it. I do not find any further example of translations on your site. If you got one, please let me know. |

Thank you for your continued assistance. First in regards to "ProfiLux Aquarium Controller". We did exactly the same. Many times, different users, different PCs. But without success. You may remember this is not the first time that we have this situation, we have this problem, reopen at 100% completion the TE, complete again, and nothing changes. Then you do the very same and it suddenly works? We must find out where the difference is. Or was there over night coincidentally a WPML update which can explain this? Yes, we can leave this button problem alone for now, we need to focus on the more urgent issues. I check if we can use another original WPB button element where I adjust the design with CSS so it looks like the The7 button. Mitras LX IL. I am still not convinced that this has to do with the tables, because: We have now 2 pages with the same backend content, but one has a completed translation, the other not: 1. Original page, no tables, translation not completed, gear symbol, no German available: 2. The copy you made, no tables, but translation completed, pen symbol, German available - but this page is only in draft state, I don't know if this makes a difference This means: We have here now 2 pages with the same content (and no tables) but different behavior. We need to find the difference. This might lead to the underlying root cause. As a last note, why I don't believe the theory that the table is the reason for the above problems, is because there is also a page where the tables are used and the page is working correctly in English and German and the pen symbol is shown: |

I might have made an observation which can lead to the source of all our problems. You said "I then did the same on the pages: - Automatic Fish Feeder (worked)" Needless to say I tried this before without success. After your intervention I did this: I guess you go again into this page's backend editor, click complete and all is good, as before. |

On "Mitras LX7 IL Series" I clicked through all the translated segments and there were for some reason three segments that changed their status to "Draft" when I clicked them. See screenshot. I saved these segments again, then completed the translation and the status changed to "Completed". I then edited the original product again, save it and opened the WPML Translation Editor to complete the translation again. The issue did not occur again and the translation is now completing as expected. I am not sure what caused this issue, but I suspect that there used to be an issue on the past with translating specific strings, like the HTML entity for example, and since this issue was solved, the segments needed to be saved again. --- Regarding the tables: It might be unrealted, as I could not replicate this issue on our test site, but fact is, that I created earlier a copy of the page. I then tried to translate this copy and had the same issue. Once I removed the tables the translation worked. --- On "Automatic Fish Feeder" I also went through all the translated segments and also here one segments changed its status to "Draft". In this case the HTML marker was missing on "Easy operation" - see screenshot. It is expected in this case that you will not be able to complete the translation. What is unexpected is that the segments was actually marked as completed. I completed the segment and translation got completed.I then edited again the original content, and updated the translation and the issue was not replicable. --- After those tests, there is still not an issue that I can replicate. The issues were solved after making sure that each segment is completed. |

we need to find out why these HTML marker disappear without a reason and why the translation status changes the draft As said, in the feeder translations I did nothing at all. Went in the TE, went out, even without saving (complete). And why do already translated texts disappear in the TE? Yes, we can go through all translations and confirm every one and look out for markers if the problem happens. But this is not efficient. So at this time I think you can't do more in these specific cases, as a workaround we will do all the steps mentioned from you. Other than that, what about the problem that a translated page is only visible when I am logged in, when I try to view that very page logged out, as a normal visitor, I get a 404. And no, it is not draft. I lost the overview. Maybe it was another ticket, but there I have been asked too many questions I already all answered. |

We can only investigate the issue further, of the issue is replicable. As i said im my last comment: "I am not sure what caused this issue, but I suspect that there used to be an issue on the past with translating specific strings, like the HTML entity for example, and since this issue was solved, the segments needed to be saved again." |
