This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client wants to use their own DeepL API account instead of WPML Credits for automatic translation.
Solution:
We explained that it is not possible to use a personal DeepL Pro API license with WPML, as we only support integration through a DeepL Developer license with a different pricing scheme. We provided a link to the documentation on how to use DeepL with WPML: Translate your WordPress site with DeepL.
We also provided a link to more information about Automatic Translation pricing: Automatic Translation Pricing.
Please note that this solution might be irrelevant if it's outdated or not applicable to your case. If so, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue persists, please open a new support ticket with us.
