You can share the staging site info (wp-admin and FTP) in your next reply. It is set to private. Also, if you know how to replicate the issue, please let me know steps to do that.
Is it possible to exclude this from the product sync? Syncing the products is fixing the problem, but we cannot sync the products every time someone place an order.
We would like to exclude the following options:
- Product images;
- Colors;
- Diameter;
- Weight.
We feel that the possible change in stock, after an order has been placed, is causing the problem.
We just don't know at the moment whether this problem only happens when an order is placed on the English website or on one of the other languages.
I had a call this morning. Is it possible to get a response/conclusion before tomorrow evening? Otherwise, we are forced to deactivate the plugin and take the translations offline.
On your staging site, I do some steps below and see everything works properly:
1. Update WPML plugins to the new version WPML 4.6.6, String Translation 3.2.8.
2. Edit the product in English language, just click on Update. Then the variation products are synced correctly. hidden link
3. Go to frontend > Add a variation to the cart and complete the checkout:
- Diameter: 1.75
- Color: Light Green
- Weight: 1000
4. I still see the stock and variations synced to the second languages. Please check this screenshot hidden link
So I think the issue does not occur after a customer makes an order on your site. On the live site, you can follow steps 1 and 2 above to fix the issue and observe it again.
If you want to update products in bulk, you can go to Products > Select products in bulk > Edit > Click on Update (just update, no sync, no update translation).

I'm not sure what causes the issue as I already tried some steps to replicate it but did not see that. It's really difficult to fix an issue without replicating it from scratch. You can try steps 1 and 2 (update WPML plugins and products) as I shared above and observe the issue again to see how it goes.
See the difference in products. It happened again. We don't have any clue why or how.
What we do know is the following. When a client order products, they don't dissapear. We have an order of multiple products, with some products disappearing and some not.
That's strange. I've also experienced some cases, where the translation variations are not available on the translation product page but in most cases, using the troubleshooting steps to sync variations and update the product will resolve the issue.
On your live site, I see the issue with Light Green variation is fixed so that means you've applied steps that I suggested above but now it occurs again with the White and Light Ivory variations.
I try to order those variations, and complete the order on your staging site but do not see that issue. Let me ask our 2nd tier support about this case and I will update you here when I have something to share.
Meanwhile, I still see the WPML version on your live site is 4.6.3. Can you please confirm that all WPML plugins on your site are updated?
After discussing the issue with our 2nd tier support, we don't have more ideas as to why this issue occurs on your site. If you can replicate the issue with clear steps, I will escalate this issue to the development team to take a further look. I'm sorry about that but it's really difficult to fix an issue that is not replicated. Meanwhile, you also have a workaround to fix this.
Regarding the exclamation mark, it looks like there are a/some terms that are not translated into second languages. Please translate all terms and the mark will be removed.
Thanks for your patience.
