I also want to let you know that this issue (regarding the Search Filter placeholder field value) has already been escalated internally to our developers. As soon as I have a response from them, I will update you.
Can you also please give me some more information on this too:
"Additionally, I’m experiencing a similar issue with the "Read More" label. In the String Translation section, it indicates that the string has been translated, but the problem persists."
At the moment, the "Read More" shows translated for me in both languages. What is not working properly, and how should it work in your opinion? I'm asking because I want us to get this handled, too.
Thank you for the update and for escalating the issue regarding the Search Filter placeholder field value. I appreciate your prompt assistance.
Regarding the Search placeholder text:
The issue I’m experiencing is that whenever I change the placeholder text to any language (e.g., Dutch), it gets applied across both languages instead of being language-specific. Additionally, if the placeholder works correctly in Dutch and I later update any content using the Advanced Editor, the text reverts back to English.
As for the "Read More" label:
I’ve used the same button twice on the page, and I’m toggling between them using CSS to show or hide as needed. However, the issue arises when using this approach—the "Read More" text does not update to the Dutch translation. It remains in English, despite the string being translated in the String Translation section.
Let me know if you need more clarification or examples to better understand the problem.
I created this clean testing environment for you (one-click login) where I also already set up WPML for you: hidden link
I just got an update from our dev team on the internal ticket I created and I would like to ask if you can please try to recreate the issues in this clean testing environment so that we can confirm for our developers that this issue is taking place on a completely clean environment, too, and it's not somehow related to any specific data from the current site files or database?
There are multiple plugins used on this site that we don't have access to as a company nor do we know the specific plugins that are needed to create the exact functionality that was built on this site so that we can recreate the issue from scratch.
Thank you very much for your understanding and cooperation.
I’ve already provided you with access to the staging site. Unfortunately, installing the Kadence Premium version on your server is not possible since it belongs to the client. If feasible, it would be great if you could provide a solution on my server.
This issue has been ongoing for almost a week now, and the repeated requests for access are delaying progress. Additionally, you could also test the setup locally by disabling the plugin and troubleshooting there.
