This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client is experiencing critical errors on pages translated by WPML. Deleting and re-publishing the pages temporarily fixes the issue but removes any manual edits made to the translations. The client is seeking a permanent solution.
Solution:
We recommend checking if the content created by coding and showing ACF field values is correctly configured. For example, if a page displays content from an ACF field and the translated page does not show this content, it might be due to the field value not being copied over in the admin area. We suggest editing the field group (e.g., "Flexible Sections") and setting the translation preference of the Flexible field to "Copy" instead of "Translate". After this change, re-translate the page, and the content should appear correctly on the translated page.
For fields like Flexible, Group, Repeater, etc., it's important to set the preference to "Copy" when using the WPML translation editor. For more information, please refer to our documentation on translating custom fields.
