This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing issues with translation credits after cloning their development website to a live environment. They encounter a notification asking whether the site is a copy or a new version, and they are unsure how to proceed when selecting to use the same translation credits.
Solution:
If you're trying to use the same translation credits and memory after cloning your website, we recommend selecting the option "I changed the address of the site to this new one". However, if you prefer that both the development and live sites use different translation memories and credits, you should choose the "This is only a copy..." option. For more detailed guidance, please refer to our documentation on Using Advanced Translation Editor when you move or use a copy of your site.
If this solution doesn't seem relevant to your situation, please don't hesitate to open a new support ticket with us for further assistance.

Tell us what you are trying to do?

I have a development website at dev.duplify.nl.
I have a live website at duplify.nl

I have cloned the website from dev to live. But now in dev I get a notification that asks if I have copied the website, or that it is a new version.
I say it's copy, and then it asks to use the same translation credits. But there it goes wrong. Because the link to migration code is also on dev.duplify.nl. Not from the live website.

Can you help with this?

Hi there,

Thanks for contacting WPML support.

If you wish to use the same translation credits and memory, you need to select the "I changed the address of the site to this new one" option.

If you want both sites to use a different translation memory and credits, you can select the "This is only a copy.." option.

You can learn more about it here https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/advanced-translation-editor/using-advanced-translation-editor-when-you-move-or-use-a-copy-of-your-site/

Could you please recheck?
