[Resolved] what is the status of my support request? I dont see anything?
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client was experiencing issues with various widgets of Unlimited Elements for Elementor, where the Media Translation did not replace the images in a second language. This was particularly problematic with the 'Coverflow Carousel' and 'Dual Color Heading' widgets from Unlimited Elements for Elementor, which were not filtering images correctly by language.
Solution: We first recommended ensuring all plugins were updated and then re-saving the original page in Elementor. When this did not resolve the issue, we identified that the function
getUrlAttachmentImage
in the plugin was not checking for the current language. We provided a code snippet to modify this function to integrate WPML's language settings:
For the Image Carousel, revise this comment. Another fix can be found here.
We advised the client to report these details to the plugin authors and informed them that our compatibility team would also reach out to the plugin authors.
If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If further assistance is needed, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.
This is the technical support forum for WPML - the multilingual WordPress plugin.
Everyone can read, but only WPML clients can post here. WPML team is replying on the forum 6 days per week, 22 hours per day.
ON ANOTHER NOTE:
FYI regarding the 3D Flip Book, the Author reached out and will look at programming a solution that will blend WPML Media translation to upload a different PDF file for the 2nd language of any site.
I will let you know once that is done so you can inform your team of another seamless WMPL plug-in 🙂

Thank you for reaching out again! It seems this issue is more complex than I first thought.
This appears to be a JavaScript conflict between the SiteGround Speed Optimization plugin and WPML. The error seems to occur on WPML's media translation dialog popup, which will not open if a translation does not exist.
We might only be able to debug this issue if you can provide access to a staging site hosted on SiteGround, together with its optimization plugins.
Would you be able to provide access to such a staging site, or am I able to make changes on the site that I currently can access?
I just checked again before providing you with access and it worked now!
I guess it needed time to register!
Thank you for reaching out so quickly 🙂
As for the 3D Real FlipBook, I still don't have a solution from the Author...It is very disappointing as I will need to break my EN and FR pages and my automatic translation will be broken for 25 pages (minimum)!
I am crying about the amount of work that will require from me! 🙁
I can offer to implement this fix on your site, if you wish.
The downside is, if the author does not implement the fix, the next plugin update would overwrite the changes. I am consulting our compatilbity team at the moment to find out if there is something else that we could do from our end.

Regarding the media translation issue:
There does occur a JavaScript issue, and I suspect it is coming from the SiteGround optimizer plugins. Do not hesitate to ask them if they have an issue, what might be causing the issue.
What I did, is that I added the page of WPML > Media Translation to the cache exclusion list of this Siteground cache. I am not sure if this might be the reason why it is working now, so please reach out if the issue occurs again or if SiteGround can not propose a solution.

Very well, I have enabled the private reply form again, so that you can provide me access to the site as admin user.
It would be ideal if you could also add FTP/SFTP access details, so that I can access the server in case something unexpectedly goes wrong. This will be the only way in which I can revert changes, in case the site suffers a fatal error, but take note that I will be applying the changes very carefully, and there should not usually occur any issue.

This option can be found on the right sidebar when editing the original content inside the WordPress Editor.
The problem here is, if you edit translations inside the WordPress Editor while having the WPML Translation Editor or Translation Dashboard set as the translation method, then your manual edits taken on the WordPress Editor will be overwritten.
This is why you receive the warning dialog in your screenshot.

Further, I do personally not have an issue in investigating the 3D Flipbook issues and propose fixes that will make the plugin work with the WPML Translation Editor or automatic translation, but this effort will only make sense if the author of the plugin is cooperative and applies the suggested changes to the plugin.
If the author is not cooperative, any work that could be done from our end will be fruitless, as it is the third plugin that will need to implement compatibility code for WPML, and not WPML's code that needs adjustment.
Could you please clarify this with the author before we take any further steps?

My apologies, but I personally can only make suggestions on this support ticket and function as a First Tier Supporter.
It is the compatilbity team who will go further and communicate with authors.
I can offer a new test site, where you will need to install the latest versions of the plugins, and I will try to replicate the issues and escalate each to our compatilbity team.
This older ticket was not yet escalated to our compatilbity team. If we can set a new test site that I can forward to our compatilbity team, I can offer to forward this issue, too.
Our team might then try to reach the author and propose necessary changes to obtain WPML compatilbity.
Please install the latest versions of the 3d FlipBook plugin and its addons here:
