we are using WPML together with the Impreza theme. We have set up our multilingual and multiregional website with subfolders.
/en-de/
/de-de/
/en-ch/
/de-ch/
/en-in/
/de-in/
/en-us/
Besides the subfolders, we have a root page.
When I try to edit the root page the MariaDB database apparently gets overloaded and the mariadb daemon crashes.
mariadb.service: Main process exited, code=killed, status=9/KILL
mariadb.service: Failed with result 'oom-kill'.
Thank you for contacting WPML support, I'd be happy to help you with this issue.
According to the log chat, I understand that the issue happens when you edit the root page in WPML > Languages > Language URL format and the plugin Yoast SEO is activated. I've tried to replicate the issue on my demo site but do not see that issue.
I've also tried to perform some troubleshooting steps on your site and edit the root page but the issue still happens, please help me to fix it to get the site works properly, sorry.
I do not know the settings in the respective plugins you have on your site. Therefore, to make sure it's not a compatibility issue, please install the Yoast SEO plugin on the test site I'm providing here. hidden link
With this link, you'll be directly logged in.
And see if the issue is replicable on a clean WordPress installation. Please configures WPML, and Yoast SEO as they are configured on your site (just the basic configurations needed to replicate the issue are enough). Please also make sure that you are installing the latest version of the plugin. When everything is finished, and you can replicate the problem, please let me know.
Look forward to your reply.
Thanks
