Background of the issue:
I have a webpage designed using Elementor with the default language set to English. I used WPML to translate the webpage into Japanese. I want to redesign the Japanese version of the webpage using Elementor without affecting the English version.
Symptoms:
I cannot find an entry or icon in Elementor to open and edit the Japanese version of the webpage.
Questions:
Is it possible to redesign the Japanese version of the webpage using Elementor without affecting the English version?
How can I use Elementor to edit a webpage translated by WPML?
When using automatic translation on WPML > Translation Dashboard or when using the WPML Translation Editor, the layout and design will remain identical in all languages.
If you need different layouts or designs per language, you need to use the translation method "WordPress Editor".
You can not use the WPML Translation Editor and the WordPress Editor as a translation method at the same time.
The translation method is defined in the right sidebar of the WordPress Editor when editing the original content. So in your case, you would need to switch the translation method to "WordPress Editor". If you now click the translation icon, the translation should open on the WordPress Editor.
1. When I use WPML Translation Editor, translate this webpage, now I want to use elementor adjust some UI element, Now I do by this way.:
Now, I need first login mywebsite, then access my english webpage, then click language switcher ,click jp, jump to jp webpage, then click top menu edit by elementor, then I can edit jp webpage by elementor.
Do you have quick way to directly edit jp webpage by some button.
if I do some adjustment by above way, when english web page word content changed, Can I still use WPML Translation Editor to translate new word or I only tranlated by edit jp webpage by elementor. and same problem when I change english web page UI, then jp webpage UI changed at same time?

According to your screenshot, the translation method is set to "WordPress Editor" for this content, which means you edit the translations in this case directly in Elementor.
You can not make use of automatic translation this way, and you should avoid switching the translation method to "WPML Translation Editor", because the translation editor can not capture the edits that you make in second languages on Elementor and will overwrite such changes.
To access translation, you can use the "Edit post" or "Edit page" option in the top admin bar while viewing the translated content on the Frontend.
You can also use the translation icons, inside the right sidebar of the WordPress Editor, while editing the original post or page.
You can also go to Post > All Posts or Pages > All pages and use the translation icons to create translations.
The duplicate option will only be available inside the right sidebar of the WordPress Editor while editing the original content, as long as a translation for this language does not already exist.
