Hi there, > 1. In the cloned site, the icon is correctly updated. After updating the translations, the change is reflected in the translated pages. The integration code in WPML should take care of copying the images order /layout changes to the translation. So, if the update icon is triggered or the layout changes aren't copied to the translated pages, then it is an issue. I'm looking into the issue and will update you with more information as soon as possible. Regards, |

Hi there, When I go to one of the affected products and try to check the translations to see the image carousel widget images order, I get a Page not found error for all languages. This seems to be happening due to the translation of the Product base, but it is just a guess. Could you please let me know how I can check the affected product translations? Looking forward to hearing back from you. |

Please try again... For SEO we have set a custom permalink that includes the product main category. Translations were not setup correctly so the page could not be found with the default permalink. |

Hi there, > Please try again... Thank you 🙂 OK, after testing on many different setups, I can confirm that the default behavior is when changing the layout of the image carousel widget, the translation will be updated automatically and the update icon should not be triggered. Even on the dev site and with the test product "WPML TEST - Image Carousel" - I moved the test image to be the first image in the carousel widget and it was updated in the translated product without updating the translation. However, with the SMART product, it didn't work as expected. When I change the images order, it does not change in the translated product. So we're excluding that the whole setup is affected but only some products. It could be only older products. To confirm this, could you please update any textual element of any of the affected products (a title or some text) and update the translation? Then, please update the carousel layout or image order and check if it is updated in the translation. If you want to me to run that test, please let me know. I didn't want to update the product content without confirmation. Looking forward to hearing back from you. |

Please go ahead and make the product changes as long as you revert them... |

Hi there, Thank you for confirmation. It worked 🙂 When you edit the image carousel widget for this product (wp-admin/post.php?post=5859&action=edit&lang=en), it will be changed for all translated products. For the English version of the product, I edited the title "Ultra compact. Luxurious. Unique." and updated the page, then updated only one of the translations. It was the French one. After that I reverted my changes and updated all translations, so all icons now are Pencil icons. Finally, I edited the image carousel in English and the update icon was not triggered, but as you can see, all image carousels look the same in all languages. Hope that helps, and let us know if you have any other questions. We would be happy to assist further. |
