This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client is trying to translate emails for a plugin that creates partial payments.
Solution:
First, we recommended updating the WPML plugin and its add-ons to the latest version to ensure compatibility and to benefit from the latest bug fixes and improvements. The client can find the latest versions in the "My Account -> Downloads" section of the WPML website and follow the instructions for updating here: https://wpml.org/faq/install-wpml/. We also advised the client to back up their database before proceeding, suggesting the use of a plugin like Duplicator: https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/.
Next, we identified that the WPML String Translation plugin was not updated on the client's website. We instructed the client to update this plugin by going to Plugins → Add New, clicking on the commercial tab, and then updating the plugin at
/wp-admin/plugin-install.php?tab=commercial
. After updating, the client should test to see if the problem with translating emails is resolved.
If the solution provided is not relevant due to being outdated or not applicable to the client's case, we recommend opening a new support ticket. It's also advisable to check related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verify the version of the permanent fix, and confirm that the latest versions of themes and plugins are installed.
