We found in the logs of our website that WPML sometimes leads to critical database errors (called deadlocks) Could you check the log (below) and give us your recommendations - how can we avoid this and what is the cause of these deadlocks? I too am experiencing deadlock issues (https://wpml.org/forums/topic/database-deadlock-bringing-site-down/), each fix supplied by the support team either works temporarily or doesn't work at all, so I am interested to see if this one can be resolved for Philip. In my ticket, one of the engineers says this is a known bug they're working on. |

Hello Itamar, Thank you for your reply. I have removed the FTP access restriction so you should now be able to connect. As for access to the database - I need 1-2 days of preparation. Regarding your question about the frequency of the issues - yes, it happens periodically/repeatedly (we see it once a week or once every 2 weeks). |

Hi, I installed the Adminer script through FTP and can now access your site's DB. I've passed this information to our second-tier supporter, who will check the DB further. However, the WordPress admin access does not work for me anymore. I get this message:

Hi, Our second-tier supporters and developers have identified a potential problem with stuck WPML cron (background) jobs on your site. They made a change, and the issue might be resolved because of that change. We want to ask you to share a DB dump PRIOR to the fix that we did today - so that we can identify properly the issue and try to prevent future such issues.
