Hello,

thanks for getting back.

Glad to hear the translation now works fine.

As for the new issue you experience, I am not sure what steps you have and what went wrong but should work just fine.

Probably something else you did, I would suggest you re-checked the events and steps, and use the manual method, and try with a new event, since I remember the translation you did before was using the wrong method. If the issue still happens we would need a new ticket for this new issue since this one is escalated to the compatibility team and fixed the issue.

In the test site, the workaround doesn't cause issues, tickets are translated and events are bookable. Image attached.

Let me know.

Kind regards,
Drazen

Dear Drazen
unfortunately it doesn't work. And I cannot see if it works in the test site because the image you shared shows exactly the same ticket text in ENG and ITA, so how can you understand they have been translated?
Moreover, I cannot create recurring events any longer.

Hello,

it is not completely the same, there is one description with EN, but I am sharing additional images for your convince.

As for your issue with creating recurring events, I am sorry to hear that, but I am afraid I am not aware of the steps you did or what went wrong. If the issue still happens without WPML, please contact plugin support and make sure plugin works fine.

Then you can implement our workaround and translate correctly.

Hope it makes sense.

Kind regards,
Drazen

Hi Drazen I'm not sure the issue is solved yet because:
1. ticket text translation in the image you shared seems to be not translated at all
2. adding the txt in the php file, recurring events cannot be edit because information are not updated in related events and, moreover, new recurring events cannot be created (or better you can create it but no related events are generated)

Hello,

I am not sure you checked my last image.

Please, check my last reply with the updated image, the text is translated just fine. Or better visit the link with event: hidden link

If adding a suggested workaround causes some issues, let us know the steps or video from the test sandbox site what is the issue and how can we see it, so we can understand it better.

Thanks,
Drazen

in the sand box, Events Manager and WPML Compatibility plug in is on. Should this be on? in the sandbox, workaround has been implemented?

I cretaed a new recurring event on sandbox
1. create the event in ITA.
2. publish it
3. set WPML translator off
4. duplicate
5.click on pen and translate text to ENG

tickets are not translated

Hello,

yes, it should be on and the workaround is implemented.

I have checked your events, not sure if you missed but if you follow the workaround I suggested, it should work fine and you can translate ticket info from WPML String translation.

Note you will need to change the default language of the string from EN to IT, as I informed you in my first reply with a workaround.

Images attached.

I have translated them now and it works just fine.

Hi Drazen
I noted that something is corrupting Worpress folders and I have to replace both wp-includes and wp-admin to let recurring events being created again.
Then tried to create two new recurring event following all of your steps but one of the ticket description string wasn't created properly and it was not listed as ENG in the em-tickets-wpml domain, so is the sole one that remains untranslated *ticket text for adults*.

Hello,

do you mean the following text: "Se hai allergie o Intolleranze alimentari ..", you can not find it for translation, after you have followed the workaround suggested, visit the page in front?

Does this string show for translation in WPML String translation, or is it not there?

Let me know.

Thanks,
Drazen

Hi Drazen
yes I followed your suggestion (not sure about visit the page front end but i suppose you mean the page on the living site) but what was strange is that the string was not shown in WPML string translation
So i turned to ENG the others (that are now properly translated), then i added a third ticket with a similar text and this was added to WPML string translation but was set to ITA already. That's the one you see untranslated now

Hello,

thanks for getting back.

I understand I think also mentioned this, but maybe you missed it due to much information.

It can happen, in that case, you need to set it to be the correct language, so if the string is Italian set it to be Italian and translate it to EN or another way around.

Please check:

Drazen

Hi Drazen
it's there,
It was set to ITA originally.
I set to ITA again (changed to ENG and back to ITA)
it has been translated to ENG
But doesn't work
