The site is developed with a graphic theme that uses the Elementor plugin. Before purchasing and installing WPML, we checked that both the graphic theme and your plugin are compatible with Elementor.
The site is in Italian and the only translation enabled is in English. The settings and characteristics of the WordPress server and installation are within your requirements.
We then installed and activated the automatic translation. Unfortunately entire sections of the site, as anticipated in the subject of this ticket, are not really recognized. At the same time, there is no way to manually intervene on the contents of the pages in English.
Is there any documentation that you are following?
We proceeded to search within the WPML options for the settings that would allow the correct recognition of all portions of the site, but at the moment we have not been able to resolve it, so we have opened a support ticket.
Is there a similar example that we can see?
Of course, we attach several screenshots showing portions of the site not translated, such as an item in the main menu, a title accompanying the contact form, sections of the "About Us" page, etc. Furthermore, the background of the homepage, present in the Italian version, disappears in the translated version. We find this rather bizarre as the background is a webp image and not a text.

It is difficult for me to say what went wrong, but since you mention some sections are missing, I would first advise checking in the WPML editor if the text is there and translated?
If the text is missing there as well, that probably means you are using a theme/plugin that doesn't support translating via WPML editor, as it is not officially compatible with WPML:

We will update this thread as soon as we receive a response, in order to seriously compare what you write to us with respect to the incompatibility of the graphic theme which, within the theme forest ecosystem, is also reported as compliant with your plugin.
