WPML Key registered
We have a website in two languages. I can't see any language available on the website and I can't reach the specific languages which should be English and Khmer.
Before your ticket is assigned to one of my colleagues, I'd like to assist you with some initial debugging steps to expedite the support process.
To troubleshoot the issue with loading the WPML >> Languages page content correctly, I recommend trying the following steps:
1. Firstly, please attempt to access the WPML >> Languages page using a different browser to check if the problem persists.
2. It seems you have just installed/configured WPML plugins for the first time on this site and do not have any translated data yet. So, you may fix this issue by removing WPML and all its data completely from the database.
To do so:
=== Please take a complete backup of your database and website ===
- Please go to WPML >> Support >> Troubleshooting (the link is at the bottom of the support page). >> There, click on “Reset and deactivate WPML” >> then Delete the plugin.
OR
- If you face any issue in accessing WPML >> Support >> Troubleshooting page then please go to *_options database table and delete the ‘icl_sitepress_settings’ entry. This caused WPML to start over with the setup.
- After deleting all WPML data and WPML-related plugins then please install WPML plugins again and I hope now you will not face any issues.
2. If you have translated data by WPML on this site or the above steps don’t help, please enable error reporting on your site as I need to see the details of the latest error log to better understand the cause of the blank screen issue. To enable it, open your ‘wp-config.php’ file and look for ‘define(‘WP_DEBUG’, false);’. Change it to:

After adding the above code, please try to reload the WPML >> Languages page again, and if this creates a debug.log file in your site's wp-content directory. Please send us its contents.
We have pages translated there. Actually you can check the website working fine (both languages visible) but as soon as I try to upgrade the new version, I am in the situation of the print monitor provided. I have been manually trying to disable all plugins (one by one) and I tested to change template as well - but I can't find issue there. The scenario is the same: If I upgrade WPML I lose control of the translations available.
Tomorrow early morning for me I will try with the wp-config file code and I will drop you the output. Thanks for the moment!
1. Added the code suggested in wp-config, I went through WPML (all options). I can't see any special debug message there
2. The website is working using old WPML versions. Please let me clarify this: those versions were pre exising in this website. I was helping them to optimize the website because it was very slow and I have found out this bugs. For you info, I have try to assign a genuine license to those WPML hence upgrading. This is the context where I totally lose the control of the languages! I have also done a test changing on the server those folders wiith new WPML folders. Always crashing, few cases I was losing thenav menu as well.

If you have any idea of what I can do to save the existing contents and moving to the latest WPML version that would be amazing. In the worst scenario, they will be informed that the best way is erase everything about WPML and they just have to recrate the pages in one of the two languages.

It sounds like there could be an issue with the database.
1. What version was previously installed?
2. Please install and activate the following plugin: "Database Access with Adminer"
3. Temporary Access to your system

I was able to reach your site but unable to get a login screen (see image). And the cPanel credentials you provided were not valid.
I've removed the info you provided - please only use the form to communicate these as we cannot ensure security/privacy protection otherwise from the general public.
You could try to send me a copy of your site using the Duplicator plugin and I will then install it on one of our local servers to troubleshoot the situation and possibly get our 2nd tier team involved.
Please use the DUPLICATOR plugin and then send us the files to us using a file sharing service like WeTransfer or similar. We only need the zip archives.
No idea how that was possible as I saw all the steps of a private communication when I sent the data. We are changing the passwords. Regarding Duplicator: the website is heavy and Duplicator free version does not support more than 50MB. I have a backup done with the paid version of Backup Migration. Let me know if this may work

Perhaps the easiest thing is to just deactivate that particular plugin(?). Otherwise, please address the issue and let me know when I can try it again.
1. Complete the SSL activation (please recheck this because I am not an expert at this plugin)
2. Manually upgrade the WPML Plugins to their latest versions
3. Run the following tools in WPML > Support > Troubleshooting
- Clear cache WPML
- Reset Languages
- Cancel in-progress automatic jobs
4. Use ADMINER to remove all entries from translation jobs related tables
5. Re-add the language: kh-km
used wordpress locale: kh
6. Remove zh-hans and all its data
It was a bit of hit-and-miss and if it is at all possible, maybe it is better to check the status of this site and consider migrating it to the live domain instead of attempting to redo the steps on the other site.
