This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
You are trying to make your website bilingual using WPML with YOOtheme on a staging site. The English translation is not displayed on the .com domain, and the 'back to Home' link leads to a Not-Found page. Additionally, you are unable to translate the footer and header.
Solution:
The issue might be due to the known incompatibility between YOOtheme and WPML. For translating content with YOOtheme, manual translation is required. We recommend following the steps outlined in our documentation on using different translation editors for different pages, which can be found here: Using Different Translation Editors for Different Pages.
For more specific issues related to YOOtheme, you can refer to their support pages here:
If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at WPML Known Issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If further assistance is needed, please open a new support ticket at WPML Support Forum.
