[Resolved] Writing a post only for the french version of my website, using Elementor
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client was unable to access Elementor in the French version of their website and had issues with icon alignment and size on different language versions. Solution: We recommended the following steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issues: 1. Ensure that the WordPress URL and site URL settings match, correcting any discrepancies between .com and .fr. 2. For the Elementor access issue, try changing the URL manually to .fr and test using different devices or incognito mode. 3. For the icon size and alignment issues, resave the translations after making CSS/styling changes. If the problem persists, consider adjusting the icon sizes manually in the French version or using separate widgets for each device for better consistency. If these steps do not resolve the issues or if the solution seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If further assistance is needed, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

Thank you so much for the video. I tested the suggested option and only one is working:
1. Open a incognito window
2. Go on the french wordpress dashboard
3. Modify the .com by .fr in the url
4. Modifier avec Elementor
Then it opens with Elementor.
I wish I could resolve the issue so I don't need to do all that, but if not, that's what I will do. (I regularly clear my WordPress and browser cash, so I don't know what else I can do).
In regards to the icons, they are now the right size, however, they are not aligned properly. (It is very noticeable on the mobile version). Can you check this and let me know how we can get them aligned?
Also, for your information, prior to open this ticket, I multiple times tried to resave the french translation, even modifying something like a dot or anything, then saved, but the icon stayed large.
Thank you so much for your assistance, it's much appreciated!

Hello,
For the elementor editing in french issue, could you test one more time, I think I found the cause of this, the wordpress URL and site URL were mismatching, one set to fr and the other to .com.
And for the icons, is this how it should work?
Fr : hidden link
En : hidden link
There is a slight size difference because each language has a different count of words , so the margins are not entirely the same, but I do not see anything out of the ordinary.
In regards to the icons, I assumed it was become of a different count of words, due to the translation.
I think not aligned does not look nice... What do you think could be done for that?
Also, are you the one creating these user accounts regularly? (elvisachen75283) If it's you that fine, but I just wanted to know, as I keep deleting them as soon as I see a new one.
Thank you so much for your continued assistance, I really appreciate it!

No, I'm not the one creating this account "elvisachen75283" , I'm always using the user you provided and not creating any additional users.
And for the alignment, I still do not see it, comparing both languages, I'm not seeing an alignment issue, could you point it for me or share a screenshot on what you are seeing and how exactly would you like it to display? I could then debug if this is fixable by WPML.

Hello Arnaud,
I found the issue, you can see that the size of the icon is slightly different in English for each icon : hidden link
And the alignment of the text and the icon itself depends on the size of the image,
Not having a constant size is a problem here, where is should've been a fixed size.
Maybe editing the size of the icon manually in French could work, I can't think of a solution from WPML's part, as it is conserving the "dynamic" styling as it should : hidden link
As you can see in the screenshot, the moment I slightly change the size of the text, the icon adjusts automatically,
Maybe find a way to make the icons' sizes fixed using the style or advanced tab instead of dynamic icon that depends on the text size.
Or maybe have separate widget for each device using the responsiveness function : hidden link , this way you can create a different design for mobile that could be better and more consistent.
I think Houzez would have a better idea on how to set that up,
