Instead, the gear icons remain, indicating a failure in the process. Despite changing hosting providers and attempting multiple translations, the issue persists, with high ate_sync_count values suggesting repeated failed sync attempts.
Solution: We discovered that the translation jobs were being sent from a staging site, while the system was expecting requests from the registered production site. This mismatch led to the requests being rejected. Additionally, some licenses associated with the site were no longer valid, and the currently assigned license was not active, causing the production site to be in an inconsistent state. To resolve this issue, we recommend ensuring that only the current production domain is registered and revalidating the site so all identifiers are properly aligned.

Ensure that the translations are updated and 100% completed. If the gear icon still appears, update the translation again. This is necessary because a security verification might have interrupted the communication between the site and our ATE servers, preventing the translation from being saved correctly. 2. Contact the hosting provider to disable the security verification that may be causing the issue. 3. Request the hosting provider to whitelist these hostnames: api.wpml.org, wpml.org, cdn.wpml.org.
