Problem:
The client was experiencing an issue where changes made to the translated version of a settings page were not being saved and reverted to the original language content. This problem was occurring despite the client having a field group with a flexible content field set to display on a specific options page, without using the clone field.

Solution:
We recommended the following steps:
1. Navigate to ACF and edit the field group.
2. Change the field group mode to Expert.
3. Set the Flexible Content and Repeater fields preference to "Copy Once".
4. Set the Text, WYSIWYG, Text Area fields preference to "Translate" and other fields to "Copy".
5. Save the changes.

We also advised the client to back up their database and website before making these changes. Additionally, we suggested creating a separate options page for the settings, as the workaround would not work on a normal post/page when using the Advanced Translation Editor.
