Background of the issue:
I am trying to display flags in the language switcher on my website. The file path for the flags is accessible via the browser. I have cleared both the cache and WPML cache, but the issue persists. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link

Symptoms:
The flags are showing a broken image in the language switcher.

Questions:
Why are the flags showing as broken images in the language switcher?
What steps can I take to resolve the broken image issue for the flags?
