Background of the issue:
I am trying to ensure that custom WooCommerce email templates are displaying translations correctly. The primary default language is German, with English as the secondary language. I have followed WPML best practices and cleared caches multiple times. The issue can be seen at: hidden link
Symptoms:
Despite my efforts, some texts in the custom email templates still appear in German instead of English. Emails are partially translated.
Questions:
Why are some texts in the custom email templates not translating to English?
What additional steps can I take to ensure all email templates are fully translated?
Thanks for contacting WPML forums support. I'll be glad to help you today.
Please try the following steps:
1- Go to WPML-> Theme and plugins localization, select your theme/plugin, and scan
2- Go to WPML-> String Translation
3- Scroll down and click on the "Translate texts in admin screens »" link
4- Search for the needed strings
5- Select the strings
6- Click on the "Add to String Translation" button
7- Then click on the "« Return to String Translation" link
8- Translate the strings, clear the cache, and check the front end
In step 4 we found the strings that were not translated.
We added the translation and cleared the cache but the strings were still not translated in the email.
