Our client wants to have one downloadable file like free demos of projects to be in two different languages. We had created ACF field to upload files that are on Montenegrin language(our default). Now we wonder if we can somehow translate that document when we are on english site language or if its possible at all in WP.

Hello,

We offer the plugin WPML Media Translation for this purpose:
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/media-translation/

This plugin will allow you to upload alternative media files in second languages.

This will save the new file to the server and create a new entry inside the media library. you will be able to see the entry if you switch the language inside the top admin bar to the language for the translated media file. This way also you can obtain the source URL for the media.

Then you need to go to the ACF Field Group and set the media field to "Translate". If you now edit the original field, save the content and open the translation editor, you should see the source URL of the original media, which you will then need to translate using the source URL of the alternative media file.

Let me know in case this does not work out as expected.

Best regards
Andreas
