[Resolved] Product categories not assigned after translation
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: You are trying to translate WooCommerce products using WPML, but after changing the language in the admin panel and going to the products page, the categories are not assigned to the products as expected. Only one category with one product is visible instead of all categories and respective products. Solution: First, ensure that the categories are properly translated. If you have already translated the categories, we recommend running the Synchronize Product Categories Assignment in Content option in WPML → Taxonomy Translation. This should align the category assignments across different languages.
If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems outdated, please check the related known issues and verify that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate WooCommerce products using WPML. After translation, I noticed an issue when I change the language in the admin panel and go to the products page. The categories are not assigned to the products as expected. Here is the link to the page where the issue can be seen: hidden link
Symptoms:
All products get translated, but when I change the language, only one category with one product is visible instead of all categories and respective products.
Questions:
Why are product categories not assigned after translation?
How can I ensure all categories and products are displayed correctly after translation?
Could you please clarify how you assigned those categories? I conducted some tests locally and was unable to replicate the issue. The categories will always be assigned to the translated product when you translate the product or update the original. Please ensure that the categories are properly translated.
Have you attempted to run the "Synchronize Product Categories Assignment in Content" option in WPML → Taxonomy Translation?
i have assigned these categories when i am listing the products in main language, and i translated these using wpml but my product taxonomies are blank when i switch to translated language

I need to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site—preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible—in order to be of better help. When you log in to leave your next reply, you will find the needed fields below the comment area. The information you will enter is private, meaning only you and I can see and access it.
I have looked at the site, but I actually do not see the issue. The categories are assigned to the translated products. I have attached the screenshot for your review. Did I miss something?
The product image gallery custom field was set to Don't translate in WPML → Settings → Custom Field Translation. I have set it to Copy. After the product is updated in the original language, the gallery should appear.
