This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client is experiencing an issue where all categories are synchronized, but a notice indicating that some taxonomy terms are out of sync between languages persists. Solution: Ultimately the customer reported that this was likely a migration issue, he was able to fix the issue by returning to the old location.

Let's try some possible solutions for this issue. Please follow these steps:
- Just to be safe, make sure to have a website backup before proceeding
- Go to WPML -> Support in your admin dashboard
- Click the “troubleshooting” link bellow the plugin versions list
- Look for the “Clean up” section and hit these buttons:
# Clear the cache in WPML
# Remove ghost entries from the translation tables
# Fix element_type collation
# Synchronize local job ids with ATE jobs
# Synchronize translators and translation managers with ATE
# Set language information
# Fix post type assignment for translations
At the end of this page you'll also find a "Remove all messages and notifications" button, please make sure to click on it as well.
Another possibility you can try is to:
- get access to your database
- find the '_options' table (by default wp_options, where 'wp' is the prefix of your database)
- search or the 'wpml_notices' key and delete it
And a last option would be to remove the WPML plugins and reinstall them.

Hi, it was on a new server with migrated files. So probably something was not migrated correctly. However, we had to go back to our server and will migrate to another so if this happens again, I'll try it.
