I've got an issue with translating 2 things with WPML. One seems to be an issue with WPML, and for the other problem, the issue is unknown. Our client has a site that uses multi-domain pages with WPML. One being on vharmonika.si and the other being on vharmonika.at. The first issue is that I'd like to change some displayed text; it all looks fine in the editor, but on the page itself, the old version remains. I am using the Avada Builder.
The other issue is not finding a string for the Woocommerce Paypal payments plugin. I have tried looking through the plugin translation and I also used the "Look for strings while pages are rendered" and that didn't find the string either. The string is "Debit or Credit Card".
Here is the ticket. After restoring your site on my local host, I see the content on the homepage in the German language is displayed from the layout "trgovina". Please check this screenshot hidden link
So if you want to edit the homepage separately, please delete this layout or update the translation layout to display content on the frontend.
have you made any changes to the live site by any chance? We've noticed that the layout went missing and it broke the live site and we had to recover the previous version from a backup because of it. We now also know why the text did not show, so that will also be resolved very soon on our side.
Thank you for your assistance but in the case that the missing layout might have been an error on your end, I'd kindly like to ask you to please be a bit more careful. Now that the issue will be resolved, we no longer need assistance with the website and I'd like to thank you for your time.
Such things need to be changed by us because we've got ads running on the site itself.
