Background of the issue:
I am trying to edit some text in the translation of a page on my site hidden link and check it on the front end. I use a LiteSpeed server and cache, and I always press 'Purge this page' or 'Purge all' multiple times, flush the browser cache, and wait and try again.

Symptoms:
The edit in the translation is not visible on the front end. The only solution I found is to press 'Empty entire page' under LiteSpeed -> Toolbox -> Purge, but this is unreliable and sometimes does not work. Also this option should be used only if something is broken as description says so I don't want to press it after each edit.

Questions:
Why are my translation edits not showing on the front end?
Is there a more reliable way to clear the cache after editing translations?

One of my colleagues will be taking over your ticket. In the meantime, I would like to offer some helpful information.

Have you tried updating the page translation using the following steps?

1. Make a slight modification to the original page and save it.

2. Navigate to the WPML translation editor.

3. Complete the translation.

Hi, yes, I did. But either way, it would be very inconvenient to make a small edit every time I want to fix something in the translation. I just want to edit and see the result — simple as that.

Hello,

Thank you for the updates. This may be a compatibility conflict like this known issue - https://wpml.org/errata/litespeed-cache-tools-tab-doesnt-load-if-litespeed-esi-is-enabled/

So one request. Can you please try to reproduce the issue in a fresh installation on your LiteSpeed server? For example, like this sandbox site - hidden link

Reproducing the issues in a fresh/minimal installation will help us a lot in debugging, and we can also troubleshoot the issue without affecting your live site.

Please try the following steps and make sure the bug is existing or is not on the fresh installation.

1) Install and configure the LiteSpeed Cache like your live site
2) Configure WPML like your live site and activate WPML String Translation
3) Create a couple of posts in the original language
4) Translate it and visit the post in frontend
5) Update the posts in the original language and then its translation

Thanks!
