This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are trying to display a page in German, but despite translations being present in the translation editor, they do not appear on the page. Instead, texts are still in French.
Solution:
If you're experiencing this issue, we recommend checking if you have installed the String Translation addon, which is essential for translating page content with Elementor. You can install this addon by going to Plugins > Add new > Commercial. After installation, re-translate your page. Additionally, it's a good practice to make a backup before installing new plugins.

Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue persists, please open a new support ticket.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to display a page in German. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link

Symptoms:
Translations are present in the translation editor but do not show on the page. I expected to see texts in German, but instead, I got texts still in French.

Questions:
Why are the translations present in the translation editor not showing on the page?
How can I ensure that the texts display in German instead of French?

Hello,

1) Can you please clear cache and disable cache plugins and check if the issue still happens?

2) Make a small change to the title of the page in the default language and save, re-translate the page and check if the issue still happens.

Let me know how it goes.

Regards,
Drazen

Hi Drazen,

I disabled the caching plugin and tried your solution, but it didn't change anything.

It's also strange that I get this message when I click on finish the translation.

Hello,

I have checked and I can see you have not installed String Translation addon, which is required for using Elementor and translating page content.

Please note that string translation is also used for translating PHP templates strings etc. I advise making a backup, installing the addon plugin from PLugins > Add new > Comercial, and then re-translating your page. It should work fine.

Regards,
Drazen
