This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
WPML updates might not be displayed/available on the admin Plugins page even after we announced them.

Solution:
All new versions of WPML and its add-on plugins are released gradually. They appear on the Plugins page only after the release is rolled out to 100% of the sites.

To get the update right away, go to the Plugins > Add New page, click the Commercial tab, and then the Check for updates button. Finally, select the updates you want and click to download them.

Hi,

I just realized that there are new updates of WPML but not visible on plugins page.
All other plugins updates are visible.
I can't visit the plugins websites to check if there are new updates or not. All new updates should show up automatically as a matter of course.
Why this problem occurs for only WPML? What is the solution?

Please keep the answers short and simple. (skip formalities and don't copy-paste)
Best regards

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML support.

This may be blocked temporarily by your server.
Please go to Plugins > Add New > Commercial tab and click on "check for updates"
then you should see the updates but if you do not have access to your plugins tab I am not sure how you are going to do this.
In that case, only the manual update is possible: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/how-to-manually-update-the-plugin/#post-607291

Let me know if you need anything else regarding this.

Regards,
Riffaz.

1. I can't understand, how it could be possible to be blocked by the server while other plugins not. What is special about WPML updates?

2. If you had read my previous post, you would see if I could access the plugins tab.

Hi,

1)
Incoming and outgoing HTTP/s requesting sometime may be red flagged by a server spam system.

2)
This is the first way to check if the site successfully communicate to wpml.org or not
If you do not have the access to plugins the there is only one option which is manual update as I explained in my previous reply. 🙂

Let me know if you need anything else regarding this.

Hi,

The screenshot which I have shared in my first post, shows that I have access to my plugins tab.

My question is not about manual update. I know how to do it. The Question is how to make updates in regular way as we make others. On panel easy checking and updating.

By the way there is no server block from server side.

Ok, then did you try this?
- Please go to Plugins > Add New > Commercial tab and click on "check for updates"
- do you see the updates after doing this?

Please check and let me know.

Hi,

I found and it works as you told. But I found it useless. Because I use WordPress Management Tools like managewp or mainwp and update all my websites from there without visiting their admin page. These platforms pull update status from main updates page and not from commercial updates page. Even many years I used to see WPML updates on regular updates page. It has been changed somehow recently. Please consider providing it updating from regular updates page. Other commercial plugins can be auto updated from regular updates page so it is possible.

Regards.

Hi,

Sure, it works as usual as well.
You will see the future updates in the usual place. In case, if it is missed then only you will have to check this in the place I mentioned.
