Background of the issue:
We have UAT and production versions of our website. We updated the production site from UAT today, which seems to have confused WPML. I want to re-enable translation on the live site.
Symptoms:
Translation is not working after updating the production site from UAT. I received a message indicating the site has moved to a new location, with options that do not apply to me.
Questions:
How can I re-enable translation on the live site after updating from UAT?
Why am I not seeing the same screens as before when this issue happened previously?
Let’s connect the automatic translation credits between the two copies of this site
To allow the sites running on hidden link and hidden link to use the same credits for automatic translation, you need to:
Follow this link to access the migration code (you can't get it by visiting hidden link manually)
Click on Copy migration code
Paste the migration code into the field below.
BUT when I click the link to get the migration code it just sends me back to my own site here. hidden link
Languages: English (English )Spanish (Español )German (Deutsch )
Timezone: America/Lima (GMT-05:00)
My apologies for the delay in answering, as my queue was very loaded and I do not work on Sundays and Mondays.
I can sadly not confirm any issue on my tests.

This should send you to WPML > Translation Management > Translation Tools where you find the section "Connected site" including the options to "Copy migration code" or to "Enter the connection key for another site". See screenshot.
What were you expecting the link to redirect to?
Meanwhile, were you able to set up your sites successfully?
Hi thanks for following up. I gave up and just added production (www.achilles.com) as another site using pay as you go. It won't cost anymore because all translations are only done in production. Hayley
Now I have the same issue with UAT... argh! It is immensely frustrating that WPML doesn't recognise that sites move from Dev to UAT to Production on a regular basis. OR that there isn't a workflow to manage it. This is even though I have WPMPL licensed for all 3 instances. Im now trying to add English and French Canadian in UAT it won't let me. So much time I have spent on this this week.
So why isn't my UAT instance now working? And what do I have to do to fix it?
The journey is like this... it asks me if I want to register this as a copy... Which I do. So I click yes. Then I get this screen shot telling me to follow the link and get a migration code.
When I click the link to get the migration code it takes me to my live site at this URL see screen shot. hidden link
There is not a migration code there. So I am now completely lost. I had set aside a day to do this today. I have now been doing it for 2 hours and got exactly nowhere.
