Hey there, Unfortunately, with the latest update, WPML does not currently support excluding specific content types from automatic translation via settings. However, there is a way to gain more control over what gets translated. To do this, please go to WPML > Translation Management and disable the “Translate Everything Automatically” option. Once disabled, you can manually select and send only the content you want (e.g., blog posts or real estate listings) for translation. This method gives you full control over what is translated and prevents WPML from translating everything automatically. I know this is not what you asked, but it's what we can offer as of right now. If you wish, I can create a feature request for that. We recently had another client asking for a similar functionality. Please note that if I create the request, there won't be a fixed deadline on it, as it will be analyzed internally. Let me know if you need help adjusting these settings. Best regards, |

Hi Lucas and thanks for the reply. Yes, I'd like to have a feature request created. And regarding the translation, if I select e.g. pages and posts for translation as described in your method - is this a one time choice or do I have to do this everytime a page is modified? Thanks in advance. |

Hello, I've escalated your request to the appropriate team. Answering your question, you must update the translations every time they are changed or created. That means you need to go to WPML > Translation Management and send them to translation. |
