We're encountering a significant issue with the camperbase.de website. It seems that since we activated WPML, changes we implement are disappearing overnight. For instance, functionalities like newsletters and contact forms work one day and then suddenly stop functioning the next day, requiring us to rework or reactivate them. Is it possible that there are compatibility issues between your plugin and our other tools such as WP-Forms and Mailchimp newsletters? We're actively investigating the root cause as we're unable to explain these inconsistencies any longer. Any insights or ideas you might have would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance! Silke

Hello,

Please revise WPML > Support > PHP and WPML > Support > WordPress as it could be that the WP MEMORY LIMIT is not set high enough.

It would also be very helpful if you could send us the WPML information for troubleshooting.
More information about this here:

Best regards
Andreas

Hello,

Could you please increase the WordPress memory limit (WP Memory Limit) to at least 256 MB? WPML requires at least 128M.
Your current values are:

PHP Memory Limit 256M
WP Memory Limit 40M

To do this, you need to connect to your website's server and open the wp-config.php file in a text editor. The file is located in the root directory of WordPress.

Add this code to the wp-config.php file to increase WordPress memory:

define ('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M');

Add this just before this comment:

// That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging.

The current values can be viewed under WPML > Support > WordPress.

These settings can be restricted directly by your hosting provider. I therefore recommend contacting them and asking them to change them directly if the changes are not applied immediately.

Now, in case you spot translations that are not showing up correctly, please open the Translation Editor and apply those translations again.

If this will not solve the issue, please let me know.

Best regards
Andreas

The wp-config.php is located inside the root directory of WordPress on your server.

I can offer to look into this for you now and would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to the website to investigate this issue further.

You can find the required fields below the comment section when you log in to leave the next reply. The information you provide is private, which means only you and I can see and access it.

IMPORTANT
Please be sure to make a backup copy of the website and database before allowing us access.
If you can't see the wp-admin / FTP fields, your post and website credentials are set as PUBLIC. DO NOT publish the data unless you see the required wp-admin / FTP fields.

The private response form looks like this:
