This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing an issue where changing the product visibility in the default language does not automatically update the visibility in the translated product, even though the option appears as locked in the translation.
Solution:
We explained that WPML allows for the publishing of translations once the original content is published, which can be set in WPML > Settings > Translated documents options. However, this currently only applies to public visibility. If the original is set as a draft, the translations will not update automatically. We acknowledged that there is an ongoing feature request to implement synchronization of visibility settings across translations, which may be available in a future WPML version.

If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we recommend opening a new support ticket. We also highly recommend checking related known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If further assistance is needed, please contact us on the WPML support forum.

Hello,

We found a problem related to the product visibility. When we change the product visibility of the default language, the change is not made in the translated one, although the option appears as locked in the translation. Isn't it supposed to copy the change from default language? If we just update the translated product without making any changes, the option copies. We want the products, original and translated, to have the same visibility option only by changing the default product. How can we make this happen?

Thanks!

Hello,

I understand. WPML offers the option of publishing translations, once the original content is published. You can set that in WPML > Settings > Translated documents options.

Unfortunately, currently, the only option is to set that for public visibility. If you set the original as a draft, for example, the translations won't be updated automatically. We have an ongoing feature request to implement it.

Tell me if that answers your question.

Hello,

Thank you for clarifying that, but we are talking about this visibility hidden link. This appears as locked in the translated product, but it does not copy the setting from the original. If we just click update in the translated product without making any changes, the value copies. We want to know if this setting should be copied like price, stock quantity, etc. If it is not copied by default, can we make this happen?

Thanks!

Hello,

Yes, what I said also applies for the visibility. Currently, there's no option to sync the visibility, unfortunately. As I said, we have an ongoing feature request for that, that might be out in the next WPML version.

I'm sorry I couldn't be more helpful!
