This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client is unable to translate the updated RankMath snippet titles and descriptions because these strings are not visible in the WPML Translation Editor.
Solution:
If you're experiencing this issue, it's because the WPML Translation Editor is currently deactivated for this content. We recommend managing translations directly via the WordPress Editor. To adjust Rank Math settings for pages handled via the WordPress Editor, open the WordPress Editor and click on the hamburger icon (three dots) in the top-right corner. From there, you can access Rank Math and make the necessary adjustments for each page.
Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue persists, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

Hi, Certain titles and descriptions are treated as strings, as explained here: hidden link. Could you clarify exactly what you're looking for? Are you referring to the title of a specific page or a general title? Best regards, |

I mean RankMath meta title and description shown in the screenshot. Before, I could update it in English and then I could use Translation editor to auto translate these (I think permalink translation is also broken actually). Now I can't do this from WPML Translation editor... |

Hi, yes, the regular workflow is to translate directly from the editor, as it is included there. Could you please provide the specific permalink from the backend of that page? I’d like to check hat example to see why this is no longer working. I would like to request temporary access (both wp-admin and FTP) to your site to investigate the issue more thoroughly. Ideally, it would be best to have access to a staging/testing site where the issue can be replicated. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it. Maybe I'll need to replicate your site locally. For this, I’ll need to temporarily install a plugin called “Duplicator” or "All in One WP Migration" on your site. This will allow me to create a copy of your site and your content. Once the problem is resolved I will delete the local site. Let me know if this is ok with you. IMPORTANT Best Regards, |

Hi, Thank you for providing access.
The reason you’re unable to access it via the WPML Translation Editor is that it’s currently deactivated for this content. You’ve set translations to be handled directly via the WordPress Editor instead. This means our Translation Editor will not open, and all translations are managed directly in the WP Editor — as you’ve already done for hidden link">Russian, Ukrainian, and Estonian. To adjust Rank Math settings for pages handled via the WP Editor, simply open the WordPress Editor and click on the hamburger icon (three dots) in the top-right corner. From there, you can access Rank Math and make the necessary adjustments for each page. Best regards, |

Hmm no, I switched to WordPress editor later because of multiple bugs I found with WPML :/ Did you try switching to Translation Editor to see if Rank Math fields are visible/translatable? |

Hi,
Could you clarify what specifically wasn’t working for you? I’ve updated the original language to trigger an update in the WPML editor. You can now access the Rank Math fields using the search feature within the editor. Here’s a Loom video demonstrating the process: hidden link">Loom Video. Best Regards, |

Sorry, I think I misunderstood the issue. The Rank Math fields are visible (at least now) but in some languages they had the old snippet (maybe thats why I couldn't find them). Now that I re-edited the RankMath snippet it has updated all of the languages. Very weird. |
