[Resolved] The Wordpress plugin Halstein Team doesn't translate the content
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client is unable to translate content updated with the Halstein Team plugin on their WordPress site. Solution: If you're experiencing issues with translating content from the Halstein Team plugin, we recommend you follow these steps: 1. Navigate to WPML -> Settings -> Post Type Translation section. 2. Set the "Team" post type to be translatable. 3. Go to your Halstein Team section and translate the team posts.
After completing these steps, please check the translated team page on the front end to see if the issue is resolved.
I will add the first reply before this ticket is assigned to one of my colleagues. It might be the fact that the plugin is not compatible with WPML.
Please contact the plugin developer and ask about that. If the plugin is not compatible, we will need the cooperation of the plugin developer and their willingness to make it compatible.
They can start their journey here and we can help them:
Meanwhile, To be able to report the compatibility issues we need to replicate the issue on a clean installation.
I created a clean installation of WordPress, WPML, and all necessary WPML add-ons.
You can access the WordPress dashboard using the link below:

Kindly follow the steps below:
- Install the plugin
- Setup WPML with two languages
- Add a page with the content of the plugin to show it is not translatable
There is no guarantee for a fix but we will do our best.
Finally, check if the manual method works for the content:
Thank you for your feedback. As a non-user of Elementor, I can't replicate the same (it is someone else who worked on this website).
However, I can put the current website on maintenance, the time you work on it? All the backup and security actions are done. I had switched the maintenance mode on now.
I hope you are doing well! I would need to look closely at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.
Your answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it.
❌ Please backup your database and website ❌
✙ I would need your permission to de-activate and re-activate the Plugins and the Theme and change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is critical.
✙ I also need your permission to take a local copy of your site to debug the issue without affecting your live site.
Thanks for the access details. Please check the following steps:
1- Go to WPML-> Settings-> Post Type Translation section
2- Set the "Team" post type to be translatable (Kindly check the attached screenshot)
3- Go to Halstein Team and translate the team posts (hidden link)
After translating the posts, please check the English team page on the front end.
