Background of the issue:
I'm working on our first translated blog post and struggling with category pages. The blog post I am working on is located here: hidden link. My translated blog posts do not show on associated in-language category pages in some scenarios.

Symptoms:
Translated posts are not appearing on in-language category pages. In scenario 1, the post appears as intended. In scenarios 2 and 3, the post does not appear, and the URL differs from scenario 1.

Questions:
What can be done to make the posts appear on assigned category pages?

Thank you for contacting WPML support. While you are waiting for one of my colleagues to take this ticket and work on it, let me provide you with first debugging steps or if I can perhaps help with the issue quickly.

Please make sure that your post categories are translated. Here are the steps to translate them:
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-post-categories-and-custom-taxonomies/#:~:text=Go%20to%20WPML%20%E2%86%92%20Settings,Click%20Save.

If after that, you are still having issues, please send us examples of pages (screenshots or links) that are and aren't showing the proper content, so we can compare and understand what's the expected behavior. Note that both the post and the category that contains it must be fully translated.

If that does not help, one of my colleagues will soon come to continue support.
