This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client is experiencing an issue where custom fields are not displaying on the front end of the English version of their website built with Oxygen and Meta Box, using WPML. However, these fields appear correctly when logged in as an administrator.
Solution:
We recommend setting up a staging environment to safely test without affecting the live site. Follow these steps:
1) Deactivate all plugins and switch to a default theme to check for any conflicts.
2) Examine the Apache configuration for any non-standard changes or extensions, especially in the .htaccess file.
3) Check the server logs for more detailed insights into the issue.
4) Deactivate WPML to see if the issue with the custom fields persists in the default language.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, or if the information provided here becomes outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem continues, please open a new support ticket.

Hi, Could you clarify how the page was translated? Please note that Oxygen requires manual translation. Did you open the page in manual mode instead of using the WPML Translation Editor? Best regards, |

Yes manual translation however the problem is not with the page but with the metabox fields. below are two screenshots. The one that is showing the correct English Translation is when i am logged in as admin. The other one with the greek is when i am visiting the site as a visitor. hidden link. In the page there is also simple text and it is working fine regardless if i am connected as admin or not. |

Hi, thanks for the info. I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. It would be better to a testing site where the issue is replicated. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it. Maybe I'll need to replicate your site locally. For this, I’ll need to temporarily install a plugin called “Duplicator” or "All in One WP Migration" on your site. This will allow me to create a copy of your site and your content. Once the problem is resolved I will delete the local site. Let me know if this is ok with you. IMPORTANT Best Regards, |

Thank you for providing access. I’ve checked the site, and everything appears to be configured correctly. I couldn’t find any reason why the translated content isn’t displaying for logged-out users. To investigate further, please provide a Duplicator copy of your site for local debugging. This will allow us to isolate the issue and adjust settings to identify any active elements that might be causing the problem. You can follow the instructions here to create a copy: hidden link. Hallo, vielen Dank!

Hi, It's difficult to provide a definitive answer without knowing the specifics of your server environment. To start, I recommend creating a staging environment and testing the issue there. If the problem persists, try the following steps: 1) Deactivate all plugins and switch to a default theme to rule out any conflicts. Best regards, |
