Hi there,

Thanks for your patience.

Here is the ticket. Could you please share FTP access here so that I could copy the required files from your server?

Thanks!

Kor

Hi there,

Thanks for your reply.

I need the FTP access credentials. Could you get this info from your hosting provider? Or can I install 3rd party plugin on your Website to download the required plugins from your Website?

Thanks!

Kor

Hi there,

Thanks for your reply.

It's hardcoded here

motopress-hotel-booking/includes/utils/taxes-and-fees-utils.php: Line 75-77

*/
$output .= apply_filters( 'mphb_text_taxes_and_fees_included',
_x( ' (includes taxes and fees)', 'Text about taxes and fees below the price.', 'motopress-hotel-booking' ),

Are you trying to change the "English Language" texts (includes taxes and fees) to something else? Then, translate it into another language.

Thanks!

Kor

I had changed these phrases (there are some that didn't work) with Loco Translate because with WPML I didn't know how to... Do I have to delete what I changed in Loco Translate first and uninstall that plugin?, in case it interferes with WPML...

Hi there,

Thanks for your reply.

I can see that it's hard coded over here hidden link .

After making changes directly, I performed a scan here hidden link then, I translated it here using the string translation hidden link

Could you give it a try and see if it works for you?

Thanks!

Hi Kor,

Thank you.

How can I now change the English version of this text: ¨+%s taxes and fees¨to ¨+%s cleaning fee¨?

With best regards,

Hi there,

Thanks for your reply.

Please note, WPML was not created to change texts/words. It was meant to translate the words. So what you are trying is simply not a feature of WPML.

Anyhow, we can try following steps to change the strings in original or primary language. This may work depend on how the plugins/theme (which has the string that you want to translate) is built. Here are the two methods to customize it.

Method 1 :
Edit the hard coded texts over here hidden link . Then, perform a scan and translate it.

Method 2 :
1. Go to WPML->Languages-> Add new language -> Add a random language
2. Then scroll down and hide this language.
3. Now go back to WPML->String Translation->Select your string -> Change language of string to the newly added hidden language.
4. Now you will have an option to “translate” it on the original language of the theme.

Yet, this is NOT a good solution, this should work by default.

Could you give it a try and let me know how it goes?

Thanks!

Hello Kor,
Thank you very much!,
I have changed it with Method 1 and it goes perfect :).
Just the last question,
I still have Loco Translate installed, because I have the following words translated there *(screenshot attached)
Do you recommend me to translate them differently in WPML and uninstall Loco Translate?
Thank you very much!

Hi there,

Thanks for your reply.

Loco Translate will only make changes to your language files. So, it's fine to remove it. But ofcourse, always backup before you remove/update a plugin.

Thanks!

Kor
