Background of the issue:
I am trying to make the missing widgets appear on the translated version of my website. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link

I did indeed translate all strings in the widget domain.
The widgets are set to display in all languages.

Symptoms:
Two of my footer widgets do not appear in the translated version. I expected to see the two missing widgets, but instead, they are gone. take a look at the screenshot.

Questions:
Why are the footer widgets missing in the translated version?
How can I make the missing widgets appear?

Hi,

Before your ticket is assigned to one of my colleagues, I'd like to guide you through some initial debugging steps to speed up the support process.

To begin, please follow the below steps and let me know how it goes:

- Please make sure the featured products and posts which are showing in the default language footer are translated into secondary language.

- For translating the widget title, please try to follow the below doc:

1. Go to WPML >> String Translation page.
2. Scroll down and click on the Translate texts in admin screens » link at the bottom of the page.
3. Search for the required string.
4. Select the string.
5. Click on the Add to String Translation button.
6. Then click on the "« Return to String Translation" link.
7. Add the translation from WPML >> String Translation page.

Here are docs for more details:

Kindly let us know the results,
Thank you

Can I translate this part at the footer too? I can't find this in the string translation.

Hi There!

I hope you're doing well. I've taken over this ticket and will try my best to assist you in this matter.

I checked your site and noticed that in the English version, the footer displays the product section correctly, but a certain section is still not appearing. Upon further inspection, I found that the Phone Number section is a Custom HTML widget, and the Recent Posts section is added using the Recent Posts widget.

Could you please try translating both widgets using the manual widget translation approach and see if that resolves the issue? For more details, you can refer to the guide below.

Regarding the text at the bottom of the footer, if you're adding it through the Theme Customizer, it should be accessible in the Admin Screen. To translate this text, you’ll need to register the string for translation.

You can follow the steps shared by my colleague Noiman in the previous response or refer to this guide for detailed instructions: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/finding-strings-that-dont-appear-on-the-string-translation-page/#translate-admin-and-settings-strings

Please give it a try and check if that helps in solving the issue. I'll be happy to help if you need further assistance in this matter.

Best regards,
Prosenjit
