Background of the issue:
Using the advanced translation editor, we want to translate from French to English. All the fields are translated, but we only get 96%.

Symptoms:
The translation can't get finished because the total completion is only 96% even though all fields are filled and accepted.

Questions:
Why is the translation completion stuck at 96%?
How can we achieve 100% translation completion?

Hello there,

I can see your MaxInputVars is set to 1,000 in the debug info. WPML shares a high number of variables through HTTP request, it is recommendable to increase it to 5,000 or at least 3,000, especially when you're translating large pages/posts.

You can try to temporarily switch to the old version of ATE to see if you can spot the fields missing translation in there.

You can do it in the gear icon in the right top bar, after switching to the older ATE, complete the translation to 100%, save it and return to the new ATE and confirm that the issue is fixed.

Thank you,
Mateus

I increased the MaxInputVars. It didn't solve the problem.

I switched to the previous version of the editor and I saw that an URL was orange. So I corrected the URL and it's now 100% translated.

Can you tell the developer about this bug?

Hello there,

Thank you for sharing the results.

When you switched back to the new ATE, did you manage to see that URL? Was it marked as translated?

I tried replicating this issue in a fresh install but I wasn't able to, if there's another page having the same issue that we can use to debug it further and report it for a fix it would be ideal.

Thank you,
Mateus

No, that URL wasn't there, I think. And when I switched to the previous editor, the URL appeared.
