[Resolved] WP All Export Pro does not export language_code, source_language_code and translation_group
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: You have a website with WPML and WooCommerce and need to export and import products and product categories. Solution: We recommend installing our addon plugin, WPML Export and Import. Once installed, the related WPML fields will appear when you try to export categories. For detailed guidance, please follow this documentation: Export Multilingual Websites Using WP All Export & WPML.
If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we encourage you to open a new support ticket. We also highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. For further assistance, please visit our support forum at WPML Support Forum.
This is the technical support forum for WPML - the multilingual WordPress plugin.
Everyone can read, but only WPML clients can post here. WPML team is replying on the forum 6 days per week, 22 hours per day.
Background of the issue:
I have a website with WPML and WooCommerce and want to export and import products and product categories with "WP All Export Pro" and "WP All Import Pro". The import file has to look like this: hidden link. Product Categories Spreadsheet: hidden link. Products Spreadsheet: hidden link.
Symptoms:
The export files DO NOT include the columns needed for the import: "_wpml_import_language_code", "wpml_import_source_language_code" and "wpml_import_translation_group".
Questions:
How can I add the columns "_wpml_import_language_code", "wpml_import_source_language_code" and "wpml_import_translation_group" to the export files?
Please make a full backup of your site (files and database) and confirm it in your next reply.
If possible please provide access to the staging website, not production.
Please note, that I might need to do some debugging procedures like enable/disable plugins, switch themes, change the default language of the user account, and/or access your website database to debug the issue furtherly.
I will share with you any changes or steps done in this process. Please let me know if you do not agree with the above or if I do not have your permission for any.
I would need to access both your site's wp-admin and FTP account, if possible.
I have enabled the private username and password fields in your next reply.
I suggest you create a new user, set it as an administrator and then add those credentials in the private fields mentioned.
You can safely add your information into these fields.
