[Resolved] Buttons not appearing in translation editor driving me nuts again!

I chatted with support earlier regarding translated buttons pointing to the default language page rather than the translated German page.

The buttons were also not appearing in the WPML translation editor, thus preventing me from changing the url to the correct German page.

I had already tried the searching for "http" in the WPML search field trick. But none of the buttons appeared.

The support guy looked at the debug code and suggested the following steps-

1- Resave permalinks
2- Edit the default language page by adding temporary text, saving the page, deleting the temporary text, re-saving the page and then looking for the button in the WPML translator editor.

I did this and the button showed up in the WPML translation editor. So I thought the issue was resolved.

I then started going through each page and doing the above 2 steps and fixing the button urls on most of the pages...

...BUT now I reached a page where the button is pointing correctly, but the buttons itself are not showing in the WPML editor again. This is really driving me insane, same issue on another WP-WPML install and the above 2 steps not always working.

This is preventing me from making the client's website live as I am too worried about not being able to find the buttons in the translation editor and being able to edit the urls 🙁
