Unfortunately we are still facing the problem already reported in previous ticketas - https://wpml.org/forums/users/pawelw-13/

The previous time you advised us to take the following steps:
"1) Upgrade to the latest version of WPML(4.6.6 series)
2) Clear all types of caches
3) Visit Settings>>Permalinks
4) Resave the settings"

We did this on the development version of the site hidden link, unfortunately the problem was not solved.

I would like to offer to have a closer look at the problem and request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to the website to investigate this issue further.

You can find the required fields below the comment section when you log in to leave the next reply. The information you provide is private, which means only you and I can see and access it.

IMPORTANT
Please be sure to make a backup copy of the website and database before allowing us access.
If you can't see the wp-admin / FTP fields, your post and website credentials are set as PUBLIC. DO NOT publish the data unless you see the required wp-admin / FTP fields.

I may have to install a plugin called "All In One WP Migration" to make a copy of the website where I can investigate the issue further.

However, I would also be very grateful if you could provide a staging site or copy of the website from your server yourself for this purpose.

If you have any questions about creating such a staging site, you can consult your hosting provider. Just take note that WPML should be registered on this site again.

If you are unable to provide such a copy of the site for testing, please let me know on this ticket.

Hello,

Take note that not all product categories are yet translated at WPML > Taxonomy Translation.

The issue is inside the menu. The custom links will need to get translated inside each menu or at WPML > String Translation and you will need to make sure to use the correct slug for each category.

You are here using /oferta/ for all pages and this is why you get a 404.

If you go for example here and switch languages you will see that everything works:

Exceptions might count for categories that are not translated yet or are empty.

Hi,
There is something wrong. If I go here hidden link I get a 404 error (see attached screenshot).

Taxonomy translations should be ok (see attached screenshot), especially since some time ago this problem occurred, then disappeared and we are dealing with it again.

Moreover, check out these two screenshots:
1. Link opened directly from your above message.
2. Polish version of the site > category "budownictwo mieszkaniowe" > switch language to English.

Two of the same URLs, but in one case it opens incorrectly and in the other it works correctly.

Also see the video, because switching between language versions is highly unstable and the errors that appear are illogical - hidden link

Hello,

The slug translation of your website is not working as expected when using the language switcher, but your website is not using any of the language switchers that are integrated into WPML.

Not any of our language switchers is enabled at WPML > Settings and once I enable one of them I see the same of behavior, which is unexpected.

Also, some of your archive pages lead to media attachment pages.

Did you maybe create your own language switcher here and are you hooking into the behavior of WPML?

Further, I can not access the plugin of the website. Please provide me unrestricted access to the site, as otherwise I will not be able to assist on this matter.

Hi,

We used the code from the WPML documentation to display the switcher. Since we had to add custom links here, we use the https://wpml.org/wpml-hook/wpml_active_languages/ filter to retrieve the list of urls.

Archive pages don't lead to media. The links are correct, only wpml is doing the redirect wrong.

Your user already has access to the plugins.

When trying to access your site I get redirected to:

I can not access this site at the moment.

Please leave me a short notice on this ticket, once the site is accessible again.

It would be ideal if you provide full admin access to a staging site on which I can deactivate plugins, switch themes, and access the server via a file manager plugin or FTP.
