Tell us what you are trying to do.

We have more than five languages on our website, and we need a user to translate only one of those. We created a user with the author role. We already have found the option to do so, but when that created user (author) takes a page for translation (using the + symbol), it always opens the advanced editor. We need the classic editor for that specific user to edit or translate each post. How can we achieve this? Is there any option to do so?

Hi there,

Unfortunately, it is not possible to mix the translation editors used on the site, however, you can turn off the automatic translation for this user. While they will still work in the Advanced Editor they won't be able to usee automatic translation or credits.

Please try the following:

- Go to WPML->Translation Management->Tools->Who can use Automatic Translation
- Turn the functionality off for the specific user

Let me know your results, please.
