Just one extra thing that may help. When I create a new post and add a shortcode (that has previously been used AND translated), it often (possibly always, but I can't be 100%) appears untranslated in the ATE. That is the 2nd language segment/field is empty. Given that it has previously been translated, it should be in translation memory - but obviously, something is going on here. Please note: Generally, I duplicate an existing post that contains similar elements to those that I need for the new post, so NOT a BRAND NEW post. The duplicated post may or may not have contained a shortcode that was previously translated. |

Thanks! The access details are working now. However, I can't install a plugin like Duplicator Pro or All In One Migration. (In the other ticket, you agreed to me taking a copy of your site for escalation.) Probably for security reasons, your server or a specific plugin is blocking the option to install migration plugins. Please see the attached screenshot. I also tried it by uploading the plugin from my computer, and the server blocked me. Could you please unblock this option? Regards, |

Hi Itamar All-in-One Migration Plugin is already installed. I also installed the Duplicator Plugin in case you preferred to use that - I am assuming you will have the Pro access license if needed? Thanks let me know if you need anything else |

Hi, Our second-tier supporter has been investigating this issue and communicating it with our Advanced Translation Editor developer. However, he now needs another example page where this problem occurs, because the hidden link">page you gave as an example seems alright now. When the second-tier supporter checked this page in the Advanced Translation Editor, he could see that all the gyg_ shortcodes are translated. He shared with me the attached screenshot. Can you please send us an example of another page where this problem occurs? Thanks, |

Hi Itamar Ok, so I beleive you took a copy of the site on the 23rd April and are using this to investigate. On the 21st April, I updated this post and added some Get Your Guide widgets etc hidden link If you switch to say Italian (or look in the ATE), you will see that the first lot of 3 Get Your Guide widgets are now untranslated. Of the second group of 3 GYG widgets - only the first is now untranslated (also assuming now a bland segment on the ATE). The 3rd group, the middle one, is untranslated. For another type/brand of widget display, so you can see it is not just GYG but shortcodes in general: The Blue OMIO widget is untranslated - I can tell by looking at the search button - always says search (the top half of the widget is text so always translates from translation memory). Further down, you will see another GYG group of 3 activity widgets: Here is more proof that these shortcodes WERE translated previously and are dropping out of translation memory. Given that it was only updated on the 21st April, it should have automatically come from translation memory. This shortcode is in many articles and was first translated maybe even 9-12 months ago, and numerous times given the issue at hand, but as you can see, it was definitely translated on the 1st Feb. |

Hi, According to our developer, you should manually fill in the missing shortcodes when this problem occurs. I'm sorry, but we still don't have a workaround for this. I'll keep you updated on any news regarding this issue. Regards, |

Hi Itamar Thanks for getting back to me, but not exactly what I wanted to hear 🙁 I HAVE been doing this since August/September last year. It is very time-consuming (and boring). I work on the site almost every day and am constantly adding new content and translating. EVERY time I update a post or listing, I have to manually check and update these fields. Some posts have 40+ of these to re-enter (times each language). Also, now that there is quite a lot more content, I can't feasibly go through it all checking for untranslated items (shortcodes) that appear on the frontend and then opening and updating again in the ATE. I am hoping that they are still going to try to solve this issue and it will not be forgotten about again. I'm not being funny or rude (just that this is what happened last September when I first reported it). If you can continue to push for a solution, it would be really appreciated. |
