This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

The client reported that after moving their site, the language parameter was not included in the URLs as expected, despite having set the URL to use directories for different languages.

Solution:

We first checked if there was a compatibility issue and requested screenshots of certain dashboard pages to track the issue. It was discovered that the Custom Post Type 'Destinations' was not set to be translated. We advised the client to:

1. Ensure a site backup is done.
2. Go to WPML>>Settings>>Custom Post Types translation and set the 'Destinations' post type to 'Translatable – only show translated items' and save the changes.
3. Visit Settings>>Permalinks and resave the settings to ensure the changes take effect.
For more details, refer to our documentation on translating custom posts.

If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems outdated, please check related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verify the version of the permanent fix, and confirm that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. We highly recommend opening a new support ticket for further assistance at WPML support forum.

Hello,

Thank you for the updates. As per the following screenshot, the Custom Post Type Destinations are not set as translated.

So please visit WPML>>Settings>>Custom Post Types translation Translation after a site backup. Then choose *Translatable – only show translated items* option for *Destinations* post type and save the changes. Refer to the following documentation for more details.

https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-custom-posts/#cant-find-your-custom-post-types

After that visit Settings>>Permalinks and resave the settings, and make sure the issue exists or not.
