[Resolved] the plugin is installed on the site, but it does not appear in the installed plugins menu?
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: You are trying to set up WPML on your site and after downloading, installing, and activating the plugin, it does not appear in the WordPress interface or the installed plugins menu. Solution: If you're experiencing this issue, we recommend checking if you have installed both WPML Multilingual CMS and String Translation components. You can do this by navigating to Plugins → Add New Plugin → Commercial tab in your WordPress dashboard. From there, select the necessary plugins and install them.
This solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. If the issue persists, we highly recommend checking the related known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If needed, please open a new support ticket.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to set up WPML on my site hidden link. I downloaded and installed the plugin, entered the activation code, but I am having issues with it appearing in the WordPress interface.

Where did I make a mistake in the installation process?

Please upload any relevant screenshots that would help illustrate the problem. I want to ensure that I fully understand the issue at hand so that I can provide the best possible solution.
You mentioned that you have already added the activation code, so you should have the OTGS Installer plugin installed now.
To install the WPML Multilingual CMS and String Translation plugins, go to Plugins -> Add New -> Commercial tab. On this page, you can choose the plugins you want to install. I have attached a screenshot for your reference.
Alternatively, you can check and download the latest released versions under "My Account -> Downloads" on this site. Instructions for updating can be found here: http://wpml.org/faq/install-wpml/.
Please note that the OTGS Installer plugin is no longer needed once you have installed the plugins.
sorry, I just have a question in the WPML program configuration there is a choice - Who will translate?
doesn't the program translate our page itself?
what does it look like?
should we translate everything ourselves first?
